On Limits vs Boundaries
I never gave much thought to the nuances between the words "limits" and "boundaries".
As explained to me recently:
Limits are what you place on others.
Boundaries are what you set to protect yourself.
Limits can generate some resistance from the people they're placed on.
Boundaries can create safety zones physically, psychologically, and emotionally.
Be mindful about whether you're setting limits or boundaries in your relationships with partners, customers, your friends, family, and yourself.
It can be the difference between losing and winning.
